The experience in Ubud Green is really impressive. I love it very much. I have booked a bedroom pool villa with a beautiful terrace view and have stayed in Ubud Green for 4 days. The view is wonderful. The room is spacious, comfortable and worthy. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I still remember my girlfriend was sick at the mid night. I asked their staff to drive us to clinic to find a doctor. He showed his concern and didn't show any dissatisfy. Next time, other staffs also gave their best regards to my grilfirend. It made me feel so warm. It is a good memory for me to stay in Ubud Green and I believe I will come back again.

I had booked with an acclaimed resort when I came across photos and the floor plan of Ubud Green and I was hooked. We loved the open air entry, showers and inner courtyard with both bedrooms and the living area overlooking this area which also included a spa bath.

We stayed in Bumi 2 and our infinity pool hung over and had a delightful view of the rice paddy. While the paddies are not dramatically terraced like some in Ubud, they provide a great backdrop and very calming to just sit and watch the birds during the day in the rice and at night, the fire flies flittering around.

We chose to have breakfast delivered to our room rather than eating in the restaurant.....Why not! Other meals- delivered and setup in the unit - were very nice and very reasonably priced.

Drop-offs and pickups are good if organized before you leave the hotel. We found that if we called for a pickup from a destination that we were not dropped off to, (in the Ubud township itself) then it was terribly confusing for them. It may have been the language barrier. Anyway, it certainly was not a problem as cabs are readily available and very cheap from Ubud.

Good English (generally) spoken by all staff. We found the GM himself to be a very pleasant man and very visible around the resort. He endeavours to improve the resort in all areas and appears to command great respect from all staff.

We liked that the location was about 5mins from Ubud, liked the unit and gardens and we liked the friendly care and attention from all staff. All in all, an extremely enjoyable stay and we would definitely return.

What a place it was heaven on earth. Starting at check in the lady was so lovely and helpful. Got a lovely WELCOME DRINK then taken to our room by our own buttler. He went thru everything about our room and then gave us our own mobile phone to use in and around ubud. You ring they pick you up (felt like a king). Had own spa in back yard that was very private and cosy. Dinner in own room and breakfast in dining room overlooking rice fields. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH... PS Please stay here you will fall in love with the place

We arrived later than expected and were greeted with smiles and nothing being too much of a problem at Ubud Green. Our butler was fabulous - in fact, all of the staff went beyond any call of duty to make sure our stay was excellent.

The position is out of town a little but that suited us as, when you spend a whole day in the bustle and dust of Ubud, it's just marvelous to spend a 5minute drive in the luxurious valet van to arrive at this really marvelous location. You could even walk or bike it if you're in need of exercise.

The villa itself was just lovely. Well designed with a simple but very Balinese entry into a courtyard with an ancient looking frangipani tree - in flower and fragrant. In the middle of the courtyard was a sunken spa tub - just ready for soothing aching feet and legs after long days trekking and tourist-ing. Off the courtyard were 3 pavilions - master with large room, wardrobe with robes, flat screen lcd (more energy efficient) tv and superb ensuite with another bath and shower. Another unsuited bedroom pavilion with single bed was superb space for our son. The third pavilion is the living one - well appointed with another large lcd flatscreen, dvd / ipod / cd dock (even had a gamelan cd in it for effect - just gorgeous), living / dining areas and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a sink, induction (energy efficient) cook element, microwave, all crockery / cutlery, fridge and even a wine fridge (stocked of course).

The living pavilion faces the rice paddies and also includes an infinity plunge pool with waterfall jets. Outdoor furniture completes the external deck where you tend to spend plenty of time.

The air conditioning is helpful but not entirely necessary (eco) as you also have ceiling fans which are fine a lot of the time.

Breakfast was 'quirky' but loads of it - a la carte from a set menu and made freshly - fruit, cereal, cooked and juice. It was all really fine. Be sure to ask staff what order you would like things to arrive as that can be the 'quirky' part - Balinese do not have this kind of breakfast and you can end up with it all arriving at once or the cooked before the cereal and then the fruit. Mmm, it can be funny.

At nighttime we went out onto our deck and switched the lights off to just listen to nature. To our surprise and wonderment we were greeted with the view of fireflies in the forest beyond the paddies. Clearly visible and many of them. It was the icing on the cake of Ubud Green.

I recently stayed with friends at the Ubud Green and we enjoyed our stay very much. The layout of our Bumi villa was beautiful and we enjoyed the private pool overlooking rice paddies. The beds were comfortable and we slept like rocks, waking up very refreshed. Everything was clean and the service was excellent at all times. The hotel is located a few minutes outside Ubud, which is nice if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet. In walking distance you find the wonderful Iman spa, where we had the best intuitive bodywork massage ever by Nyoman. To get to Ubud the hotel offers a shuttle service and for your convenience hands out a cell phone to reach easily the front desk/butler.

We especially loved that everything seemed to be designed with lots of attention to detail in a sustainable, eco-friendly way! The breakfast was outstanding and food organic. The manager came by every now and soften to give us good tips on local restaurants and day trips. Next time we come to Bali we are looking forward to stay again at Ubud Green.
